The saying “From small beginnings come great things” is so true for me. I always had a penchant for writing, that combined with opportunities to travel within India and abroad, brought me closer to my goal of becoming a travel writer and influencer. Penning down my enchanting experiences everytime I returned from a trip gave me immense joy. Having worked in the corporate sector for a few years , I realized that being in a full time 9 to 5 job was not my forte, as there wasn’t any opportunity for my creativity to thrive. All these factors plus relentless hard work and perseverance made me realize my ambition of being a successful travel blogger, travel influencer and creator of a travel website. Ofcourse, having the support of family is vital and motivating, I am thankful for that and am truly satisfied.
What is the hardest challenge you faced in your career and how did you turn it into an opportunity?
Being from a non-technical background, setting up a website entirely on my own seemed a bit tumultuous initially. Nevertheless, realizing that learning is a continuous process , all along my journey I’ve constantly upgraded my skills and credentials, learned the latest technology and business trends.
Also, one has to be self-motivated when you are starting out on your own and this is what I inculcated. .As the saying goes `where there is a will there’s a way is all that you need
Lastly, striking a balance between managing home, family and work is one of the greatest challenges for every woman, though with a positive attitude, time management. hard work and dedication nothing is impossible.
Tell us about the uniqueness of your films/business/and how it can help individuals /startups/institutions?
Travelsimplygo is a website on top travel destinations in India and the world. It has all kinds of travel related information, exotic tourist places, family vacation guides, food, culture, hotels and helpful travel tips. As I am also passionate about sustainable travel, my blogs inspire travelers to undertake trips that protect our ecosystem. Other areas I’ve covered are solo travel and luxury travel. Having traveled to more than 25 countries around the globe, has given me the opportunity to know about diverse places, culture and people .As a travel influencer I encourage people to do the same. Travel not merely widens our perspective, but also brings people belonging to different cultures, races and countries closer together, in harmony.
