If you had to start over would you choose this as your talent or another and why?

Well Rashi, the answer to this is a BIG NO – will never change this. and YES – will choose this as my talent itself. Maybe I will add one thing to my life which I could not pursue due to some accidents and that is Sports. Art is not what today’s people or even our generation thought – It is NOT a TIME PASS Activity. It is a LIFE SKILL which I hope someday people around us will realise. Art teaches to be focussed, to be dedicated. Art is something that comes from one’s heart and soul. To quote Marco Pierre White, the world’s greatest Chef, – “A person who works with their hands; is a labourer; A person who works with their hands and brains; is a craftsman; & A person who works with their hands, their brain and with their heart; is an Artist.” An Artwork when created is not just a piece of drawing on a paper or a board or canvas. It is the mind, heart and soul of the artist. It is the way they feel and they want the viewers to feel about the world. I often get the question “What is this?” “I don’t understand it.” – but take my words, these words in their minds make them look at the artwork for a while and connect them to the thoughts of the artist and the message that the artist intends to convey. It gives them relief, happiness, sense of being a part of it, belongingness. Art makes Life and provides the power of the skill called “LEADING YOUR OWN LIFE”.

What is the hardest challenge you faced in your journey and how did you turn it into an opportunity?
Hmm… What is a journey without any challenges? It is the challenges that make you better and better in your work. It keeps you on your toes and makes you work for it. The hardest challenge that I have faced and I still face is to make parents/guardians understand the beauty of art and what it can bring into the life of their children. It is not just a hobby, it is a skill as mentioned before. Art should not be forced, it should be allowed to follow on its own just like the rivers make their own pathway, art – any artform – makes its own pathway. Another challenge I faced, at very initial stages, was the Start – where to start from? How to start? Well, with time, I have learnt the answer to these 2 W & H and then faced with another W and that’s Where to start. 😀😀😀. Challenges can be compared to the most dangerous beauty of nature that is Lightning. It is marvelous to look at, but when it strikes, it is very difficult to run away from it. Once you’ve met your challenges or are ready to face them with courage and to top it off, if you have support, then no challenges can be Mount Everest, It becomes somewhere comfortable to climb.

Tell us about the uniqueness of your brand/talent/style ?
There are many art schools and institutions around us and to be recognised amongst all, it takes a different route. That’s what we in Kreative Minds do. Our teachers are not only well-qualified and subject matter experts, but they are experts in the technique of teaching. In Kreative Minds, we don’t just tell the learners to dance or sing or paint the way the teacher is doing or showing. We encourage our learners to ask questions, to understand the reason why a particular thing is being asked of them to learn. We encourage them to add in their own style and methods and make that artwork, or song or dance Their Own. We focus on the building of FOUNDATION of any subject. Our simple uniqueness is established by the mantra “Just don’t follow, Understand and learn; Get Inspired and Kreate.

Tell us about your social initiatives?
We often sponsor a few NGOs and work along with them in various activities. On a regular basis we sponsor a foundation named, SimpleSmile Foundation which is based in Nelamangala, Bangalore. This foundation takes care of kids from BPL areas and helps them to study and achieve their goals. We often do workshops for free for them, we contribute in the form of money, art and study supplies, clothes depending on the requirement. Another initiative where we support is in the name of Ardour where a couple of our learners are team members. They also do various activities with nearby village areas in Sarjapur area of Bangalore.

What is your success mantra that you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?
Work with Full heart and soul. Put in your 100%. Expectation of returns – I never think about that. I just work towards my goal with my heart and soul. I am true to my work and true to my intentions and true to my Team.

One special Quote/message for all communities/brands
I not only believe in this, but also agree to it. As told by Marco Pierre White (world’s greatest Chef) – A person who works with their hands; is a labourer. A person who works with their hands and brains; is a craftsman. But A person who works with their hands, their brain and with their heart; is an Artist.

Any other Happy moments /achievements you would like to share with the world.
The Happiest moment was when I started Kreative Minds. Another one that I can say also happily is when I decided to Quit Corporate life and walk the path that I want to. Not an easy decision, but having the courage to do so, made me the happiest person. Another happy moment is when your family members are proud of what you have achieved.
