Following the footsteps of my brother, I did my B Tech and did an IT job for 10 years. I started photography in 2014, and as I did my first photoshoot I knew this is where my heart is. It was a tough decision to leave a well-paying IT job to pursue a creative career but in my heart I knew this is what I wanted in long term. My journey and passion for photography started at a very early age in life. I used to observe my Dad clicking pictures and capturing important moments of our lives. Right after leaving my job, COVID hit us and being a photographer, my career came to a halt. It was a tough time but I kept my creative side open for new possibilities and that’s where my new journey as an entrepreneur started. I started experimenting with a new concept of VIRTUAL photoshoots and slowly started emerging as an artist too. By October 2021, I started my own online art store, along with taking photography projects.
What is the hardest challenge you faced in your career and how did you turn it into an opportunity?
Biggest challenge that I faced like many others, was COVID. As being into a career where face to face contact is required, it was a big downfall for photographers like me.
To overcome the challenge of Photography, the photographers from all over the world came with a new concept of virtual photography..
As bizarre as it may sound, virtual photography opened gates for new opportunities new assignments and a whole new experience without the fear of Covid.
What is your business / success mantra that you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?
– ‘Never Give up’
That’s my mantra and as low as life looks, as difficult the challenges you face, don’t give up on your dreams.
Any other Happy moments /achievements you would like to share with the world.
I was featured by many platforms for my story and recently a newspaper covered my story in regards to Virtual Photography.
Seeing myself getting featured in a newspaper for the achievements in last 2 years, which felt like the lowest phase of life, made me realise how it all worked out for good.
At the same time, in my online art store, I launched the concept of Journals and promoted the habit of journaling. I have now a customer base of 250+ happy clients who come back to me for mindful gifting solutions.
